Applying for University accommodation
Find out more about applying for University Accommodation for the 2023-24 academic year.
Applications for University Accommodation for the 2023-24 academic year are now open.
You will receive an email from the Admissions team, once you have accepted your place of study, inviting you to book your accommodation online if the University of Sheffield is your Firm choice.
The application system has now switched over to preferences.
When applying, you'll be asked to select three preferences for accommodation including a room type (en-suite, shared bathroom etc) and location (Ranmoor/Endcliffe and City). After A-Level results day, we’ll then look to place you in a room based on the information you have provided; we’ll always try to match you with your highest preferences in terms of room type, subject to availability.
